that glove has been in outer space. that man has been in outer space. that man wore that glove in outer space. that man repaired part of the international space station, with that glove, in outer space. i got to wear that glove. i got to meet that man. i can cross “meeting an astronaut” off my bucket list.

i will do a proper post about this russian cosmonaut, mikhail kornienko, when i’ve had a chance to go through all my photographs [i was asked to be the official photographer for DIAS while he was here]. however, i am off to cambridge on monday for the week to check out the telescope i’m using, so it might be a bit before i get a chance. life is really, really awesome. and i will be back in the states in four weeks.

[it’s me and the moon.]
