after spending a night and most of the next day in manchester we drove down to southampton, stopping at stonehenge on the way. you can see stonehenge from the road and from behind a metal fence for free, or you can shell out seven quid (student rate) to walk around it. seven quid is a bit steep for what can be a twenty minute experience, but you suck it up if you want the fenceless photographs. we arrived at the perfect time of evening, the lighting was perfect and the monument was absolutely breathtaking. i took a photograph almost every other step to justify the seven pounds, but will spare you the redundancies.
